RUSSIANS LASH EXTENSIONS
Please read the following policy carefully before booking your Hyper-Realism Faux Freckles SPMU appointment. By booking your appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.
1. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Hyper-Realism Faux Freckles appointments are specially reserved for you and require dedicated preparation and treatment time.
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for any cancellation or rescheduling.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before your appointment will be treated as a late cancellation/rescheduling.
In these circumstances, your appointment will be lost and any booking fee/deposit paid will be non-refundable and non-transferable.
A new appointment will require a new booking and new booking fee/deposit.
Failure to attend your appointment without notice will also result in the appointment being lost.
Arriving significantly late may mean that the treatment cannot be completed safely or to the expected standard, and the appointment may be considered forfeited.
I understand that unexpected circumstances can happen. However, the 48-hour policy applies consistently because last-minute cancellations and changes prevent the appointment from being offered to another client.
2. Treatment Results
Hyper-Realism Faux Freckles is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo treatment designed to create the appearance of natural-looking freckles.
The treatment is individually customised to complement your facial features, skin tone and desired aesthetic.
Because the treatment is designed to imitate natural freckles, the freckles will intentionally vary in size, shape, colour, density and placement.
They are not intended to be perfectly symmetrical, identical or evenly distributed.
3. Individual Results
Results are individual to every client and can be affected by factors including, but not limited to:
Skin type and condition
Skin tone and undertone
Natural pigmentation
Age and lifestyle
Hormonal factors
Healing response
Aftercare
Sun exposure
Skincare products and treatments
Smoking
Medication or medical conditions
Individual pigment retention
Previous cosmetic tattooing or skin treatments
For this reason, no exact healed colour, size, density, placement or appearance can be guaranteed.
Reference photographs may be used to communicate the desired aesthetic, but they should not be considered a guarantee of an identical result.
4. Freckle Placement & Design
Before the procedure, the desired placement and overall look will be discussed and planned.
Although every effort is made to create a natural and flattering distribution, the freckles are intentionally organic and irregular.
Perfect symmetry, identical placement or an exact reproduction of a reference photograph cannot be guaranteed.
The final result may also appear different from the immediate treatment due to the natural healing process.
5. Colour & Healing
Immediately after treatment, the freckles may appear darker, warmer, sharper or more prominent than the final healed result.
This is normal and the pigment is expected to soften and settle during healing.
As the skin heals, freckles may become lighter and some may appear to fade significantly before the final result settles.
The immediate post-treatment appearance is not the final healed result.
Every client's skin heals differently, and individual pigment retention can vary from one area of the face to another.
6. Longevity
The longevity of Hyper-Realism Faux Freckles SPMU is approximate and varies from person to person.
The treatment is designed to fade gradually over time; however, there is no guaranteed timeframe for how long the pigment will remain visible.
Longevity can be influenced by:
Skin type
Skincare routine
Sun and UV exposure
Lifestyle
Hormonal changes
Pigment retention
Healing response
Exfoliation and active skincare ingredients
Previous skin treatments
Any longevity timeframe discussed during consultation or provided in treatment information should therefore be considered an estimate only, not a guarantee.
7. Aftercare
Aftercare instructions will be provided following your treatment.
The client is responsible for following the recommended aftercare instructions carefully throughout the healing process.
During healing:
Do not pick, scratch or intentionally remove any peeling skin.
Avoid applying unsuitable products to the treated area.
Follow all recommendations regarding water, heat, sweating, sun exposure and skincare.
Avoid treatments that may interfere with the healing process until you have been advised that it is safe to do so.
Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect the healed appearance, pigment retention and longevity of the treatment.
8. Responsibility After Leaving the Studio
Once you leave the studio, you are responsible for protecting and caring for the treated area and following the aftercare instructions provided. The artist, M.ink By Mara, cannot be held responsible for circumstances, activities, products, environments or actions occurring outside of the studio that may affect the healing or final result.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Failure to follow aftercare instructions
Picking or scratching the treated area
Excessive sun or UV exposure
Swimming, excessive heat or steam during the recommended healing period
Excessive sweating or exercise during the recommended healing period
Applying unsuitable skincare or cosmetic products
Exfoliation or use of active skincare ingredients too soon
Cosmetic or aesthetic treatments performed during healing
Smoking or lifestyle factors
Exposure to contaminants or unhygienic environments
Any other client-controlled factor that may interfere with healing
9. Individual Healing
Every client heals differently.
It is normal for the freckles to change in appearance throughout the healing process. Some freckles may retain more pigment than others, while some may heal lighter or become temporarily less visible.
The artist cannot guarantee how an individual's skin will heal or retain pigment.
The final healed result may therefore contain natural variation in colour, size, intensity and visibility.
This variation is also part of the intended hyper-realism effect.
10. Touch-Ups & Additional Work
A touch-up, where recommended, is intended to refine, balance or enhance the healed result.
Because pigment retention varies between individuals, some areas may require additional pigment after healing.
A touch-up does not guarantee a specific colour, density, longevity or final result.
Any additional appointment or touch-up is subject to the relevant booking and treatment terms.
11. Existing Skin Treatments & Previous Cosmetic Tattooing
Clients must disclose any previous cosmetic tattooing, skin treatments, laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling or other procedures affecting the intended treatment area.
Previous treatments may affect the skin, pigment implantation, healing and final result.
The artist reserves the right to decline or postpone treatment if the skin is not suitable or sufficiently healed.
12. Client Responsibility
It is the client's responsibility to provide accurate information during consultation, including relevant medical, cosmetic and treatment history that may affect the procedure or healing.
Please disclose any relevant medication, allergies, previous cosmetic tattooing, skin treatments or other information requested during consultation.
Failure to provide relevant information may affect whether the treatment can safely be performed and may affect the final result.
13. Acceptance of Policy
By booking and attending a Hyper-Realism Faux Freckles SPMU appointment with M.ink By Mara, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted this treatment policy.
