PROFESSIONAL MENTORSHIP & TRAINING

By enrolling in a mentorship session or purchasing training services from Maria Marin (Mara), you (the "Student") agree to the following legally binding terms.

1. ENROLLMENT & SECUREMENT

​

• Booking Finality: To ensure the exclusivity of your training date, a deposit or full payment is required.

​

• Non-Refundable Policy: All deposits and course fees are strictly non-refundable. These fees cover administrative costs, preparation of bespoke materials, and the reservation of a date that is then made unavailable to other artists.

​

• Transferability: A booking may be transferred to a new date only once, provided that written notice is given within 48 hours of the initial booking. Requests made after this window will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

2. TUITION & SETTLEMENT

​

• Final Balance: The remaining balance of the course fee must be settled in full on the first day of training, prior to the commencement of the session. * Price Protection: Once a course is booked, the fee is fixed. Training packages cannot be downgraded, swapped, or "balanced out" against other services or future dates.

​

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (THE "BIBLE" CLAUSE)

​

• Proprietary Material: All educational content, including but not limited to the Shields Bible and Lamination Bible, digital manuals, and unique techniques, are the sole intellectual property of Maria Marin.

​

• Usage Rights: These materials are provided for the Student’s personal professional development only.

​

• Prohibition: The reproduction, distribution, or resale of these materials—or the use of these proprietary methods to conduct your own training courses—is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

​

4. MODEL REQUIREMENTS

​

• Student Responsibility: The Student is responsible for providing reliable models for the practical application portion of the day.

​

• No-Show Policy: Should a model fail to attend, the training will transition into a technical theory and mannequin-based session. No partial refunds or "make-up" dates will be provided for model absences.

5. PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS & CERTIFICATION

​

• Assessment: Certification is an acknowledgment of competence. It is awarded at the discretion of the Trainer based on the Student’s successful demonstration of safety and technique.

​

• Liability: Maria Marin is not liable for the results of treatments performed by the Student on their own clients following the completion of the course.

​

6. CANCELLATION BY THE TRAINER

​

• In the unlikely event that the Trainer must reschedule due to unforeseen emergencies, the Student will be offered a priority selection of new dates. If a mutually agreeable date cannot be found, a full refund of the deposit will be issued.
